Halloween Pub Crawl
Think of it as trick-or-treating for booze. Twenty bucks gets you admission to each of the 40-plus bars on the route, plus a variety of drink specials (go for the two-for-one pumpkin ales and Halloween-themed cocktails). Festivities start at the 11th Street outpost of Village Pourhouse and end at the new Upper West Side location, with stops at Sidebar, TJ Whitneys and McFadden’s along the way.

Only the strong survive during this haunted and ridiculously epic three-day Village-to-Village pub crawl. That'd be the East Village's Pourhouse to the Upper West Side's Pourhouse (recently opened). Miles and miles of $2 Bud Lights (eek), 2-for-1 Pumpkin Ales (better) and 2-for-1 speical Halloween Cocktails that vary at each location. Hopefully somewhere's got something alcoholic with candy corn, although we imagine that'd make for a wicked hangover. Put on your best costume (please no Sarah Palin masks, though—that's tired already), and aim to make it through at least, say, five of the 40 participating bars.
